A gentleman came to us asking for help with his project because he was frustrated with the wheelchair drive he had been working with for a few weeks. He is now a happy man running a Mars ME0709 Motor with an AXE4844 Controller, White Rodgers 586 Reversing Contactors and a Quick Charge Battery Charger. Here is link to his video on youtube.

1972 Attex 6 wheel drive amphibious vehicle, now electric.
This 6X6 is running an Alltrax AXE4845 controller, a Yale 7.5 inch Series Wound DC motor, running on 48 volts with a top speed of 20mph and a range of 10 miles.
After looking at the pictures he sent me I was very impressed with how clean the conversion is. To read more about this please visit his listings at.

Electric Boat racing by high schools
Experimental EV research is an
important part of the Alltrax past,
present and future. Several schools and college EV challenges and races
have been won powered by Alltrax
controllers. |

NEV Markets / Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) is an American term for a speed limited battery electric vehicle (25-35 miles per hour in the U.S.A), restricted by law to operation on roads with speed limits not exceeding 35-45 mph (56-72 km/h) These speed restrictions, combined with a typical driving range of 30 miles (48 km) per charge.
To satisfy requirements for operation on streets, NEV's are equipped with three-point seat belts, windshields and windshield wipers, running lights, headlights, brake lights, reflectors, rear view mirrors, and turn signals. They must be licensed, and the driver must be licensed. Because airbags are not required the NEV cannot travel on highways or freeways. |

People Movers, Special Transportation
Special transportation using electric
vehicles has tripled over the last three
years. Alltrax provides performance
controllers to several major customers
who require more torque and flexible
features for a demanding application |
|
Industrial and Process Equipment
The industrial material handling
markets require higher performance
controllers. This includes re- builders,
OEM, and special design applications.
The Alltrax controllers' thermal and
power performance is better than
most manufacturers' requirements. |
|
Golf Fleet and OEM applications
Original equipment manufacturers
(OEM) and fleet golf applications
require a reliable cost effective
controller. Alltrax provides flexible
tools and adapters for many golf car
vehicles.
The many golf cars platforms, ground
keeping utility vehicles, and multi
person cars require electric motor
controllers that can serve many
different needs. |

Marine After Market & OEM
Applications
The marine market is a new and
emerging opportunity for those who
compete against the hydrocarbon
driven boats. Advanced motors,
battery technology, and environmental
water quality concerns have provided
boating enthusiasts an electric
alternative.
Harsh environments, high customer
expectations, and flexible design
requires high performance and high
quality products. |

While most boats on the water today are powered by diesel engines, and sail power and gasoline engines are also popular, it is perfectly feasible to power boats by electricity too.
Passenger solar boat Solifleur, Switzerland 1995Electric boats were very popular from the 1880s until the 1920s, when the internal combustion engine took dominance. Since the energy crises of the 1970s, interest in this quiet and potentially renewable marine energy source has been increasing steadily again, especially as solar cells became available, for the first time making possible motorboats with an infinite range like sailboats. The first practical solar boat was probably constructed in 1975 in England (see Electrical Review Vol 201 No 7 12 August 1977). With the present state of technology, many[citation needed] believe that the time is right for the increased usage of electric or solar boats. |
